We purchased a Hayward 400, 00o btu heater on February 23, 2011 and it still show an IF error code all the time after several days back and forth for the company who installed it. We even had the manufacturer rep out and they have no idea what's going on.

I would never tell anyone to buy worthless equipment and this company should be sued for its incompetence and lack of good technology. I am going to have them take this crap out and put in a quality heater. I am going to post a complaint to the BBB and see what they can do to stop this type of poor technology being sold as good equipment. Hayward! Just make other pool stuff and leave heater technology to "real" designers.
