i was given a ticket for speeding, wnet to court to fight it and even the fact that i had a witness in the car .when i asked to see the speed on the radar gun i was told " it was not on radar", so i go to court and plead not guilty and my witness tell the 80 year old judge that "he was looking at my speedometer and i was going between 35 and 37 mph (not the 51 miles per hour that the officer said i was doing) i still was found guilty and told that i could appeal it . helena is nothing but a speed trap and writing such an excessive number of tickets that the mayor has written an article about the price of a ticket and where all the money goes to in the city . just wanted to see if anyone else has had a similar experience in this little town . thanks
