We had the most horrible experience with Hercules Fence. They started to install a fence in our backyard, and after we noticed the posts were very crookedly set in concrete and asked them to fix it, they blamed us for actually intentionally bending the steel fence! In the end they pulled up the fence and left. Later, they tried to sue us so for preventing them from finishing so we had to get a lawyer, who couldn't imagine what they were thinking. Hercules even submitted a copy of the contract as evidence that they had blatantly changed even though we had a carbon copy of the original! Obviously this is illegal. As expected, a day before the trial, where we would have won and been able to get them to pay our legal fees, they withdrew the suit. So it's not a far stretch to interpret that as a spiteful, bullying tactic where the only intention was to make our lives less-fun. And all because we wouldn't stand for a very crooked fence.

Just wanted to share this experience so others may be able to make a better decision when selecting a fence company. My suggestions are to make sure you read the contract and hold whomever you select to it. Don't stand for poor workmanship and don't allow yourself to be bullied! And if you do get sued for standing up for yourself, don't sweat it, in typical bully fashion, they only win if you let them get to you!
