I bought a a6535 HP computer in November 2008 from Costco. After about 10 weeks the fan started to make a loud noise. I called HP and they said if I sent them the computer they would replace the fan and I should have the computer back within about 3 weeks. I use the computer for work so that was not a good plan. I took the computer back to Costco since it was still within the 90 day return period and purchased another a6535 model. That was on February 06, 2009. It is now 22 days later and today the computer fan started to make the same loud noise.

I like the computer but I believe there is a problem with the fans in this model of computer. I think anyone thinking about purchasing this model of computer should watch for a problem with the fan. I will take this computer back and hope that the next one has a good fan in it. It is just a headache and time consuming having to save all the programs and information from this computer and set it all up again on a new computer.
