States that the street has power, yet it does not. We had to move to a hotel due to 7 days without power. We understand the emergency condition and work involved. We cleared our own trees on Chapin road from the street. I know for a fact that the national grid utility has 300 plus trucks at the Northboro, MA. national grid has its own customers that it is bring back on line. It is clear that it is either a money issue that the town is not spending the money to hire the additional crews or are not equipped to manage the additional outside crews or both conditions. With the next storm arriving today Dec 19, 2008 and utility workers telling other neighbors on Chapin that Service may not be back until after Dec 25, 2008. I am sure that the town manager has electrical power at this time.
