The hotel was dirty and over booked. That was not the major complaint. Four days after I left the hotel there was a $250.00 charge. The hotel said I smoked in a non-smoking room. When I explained that I was there to run in the local marathon and I'm not a smoker, the manager (over paid cashier) refused to refund the fee. I am guessing primarily because she is not smart enough to know how to reverse charges. She obviously wasn't very smart because she had no idea who her area manager is or where that person worked. I guess a high school diploma is not really a requirement to be a manager at Holiday Inn. I am a gold member of the priority club for IHG but will not continue to show any loyalty to these hotels. In fact, I know what they can do with their gold card:)
