Just received a letter from National Credit Solutions stating the we owe money to Hollywood video. They stated that it was from a late fee back in May 2009--funny I never heard this from Hollywood when I was renting movies from them clear up until 2010 when they went bankrupt and closed down. Also, funny that when we called National Credit Solutions to try and get clear information about this they were only able to tell us the rental dates, not when the movies were returned. I then asked for the amount that was owed on each movie and they gave different amounts but said they were rented on the same day, just returned on different days. They stated that I would have to pay the 135.72 or else dispute this. In order to dispute it they said I would have to provide proof of receipt that I brought the videos back on time or paid my late fee. This is totally a SCAM and I will absolutely be fighting this! Also, Dee Mitchel is who I spoke with on National Credit Solutions and he was a complete *******. He also would not transfer me to a supervisor, huh make you think that National Credit Solutions is making bank off of this scam? There have been so many complaints from people saying the exact same thing and we were on hold for about an hour just waiting to get through because of so many people calling in, you would think a credible agency would pay attention to this and do something about it instead of just trying to make money off of someone who does not really owe anything.
