Harassment from the Home Depot employee
I was in a home depot an empkloyee came around the counter after calling the manger an was shoulder to shoulder with me egging me on to punch him, he was glaring at me!! I ask ed him to leave or move an he said No!! I asked him twice why are you staring at me!! no response so I said to him I will leave then!!! I am afriad to enter the store. when the manger did come over he assured me he will talk to person, when I called today the head manger KNEW nothing of the hassassment, I told him to check the suirty films Its all there, the guy coming aorund the counter an purposly triing to egg me on!! I may get a lawyer and so far I just cant see going into that store now An I an a contractor so I have to drive miles now to get things What do you thonk!!

They put up bogus questions that have nothing to do with me
I was referred to a HVAC contractor by Home Depot . After deciding on this contractor who mentioned 12 month no interest on HD card, I decided to apply. I called and emailed to inquire about 12 month 0 interest. Was told via phone only 6 month existed! I noticed online that 12 mon was available on HVAC installation. I applied online and received 1200 (not enough for 12K job. I called number on temporary card to request increase. I was asked several question about credit info (i.e. car loan company, etc.)passed series of questions, but was then transferred to someone else who asked me questions about my nieces residence, ex-husband's sisters birth month, which I explained I had no knowledge. Asked about my twin sister's rental property and several other addresses. Nevertheless was denied credit because I couldn't be "verified & high fraud rate online." Explained questions had no relevance to me & credit report. Ashley, Judgmental Coach & Teresa, Credit Underwriter, (Tenn) "can't change questions." Went into store, store personnel couldn't believe my story and called credit division. Stacy & Joe (Florida call ctr), "we use public database that is in my report" I check credit report monthly, since bank institution had laptop stolen several years ago...all info correct! How would I know my ex-husband's sister's birth month! My twin sister's rental property locations or her daughter's city of residence? WHY was I denied credit with a 700+ credit score. If home depot doesn't want to give credit, say so, but don't put up BOGUS questions that have nothing to do with me!!

Husky power washer
I purchased one of those miserable gas powered 2600psi Husky power washers less than two years ago. I pulled it out this spring to use it for the first time this year and I couldn't get it to start. I was able to use it ~6 times before it broke. Unfortunately I had lost the receipt sometime during the last 2 years, but the manufacture date was 4/29/2008. So on 5/1/2010 I carried it into my local Home Depot to see if I could return it. I couldn't since I didn't have the receipt, so they sent it off to be repaired.

The repair company just called to tell me that it was going to cost $156 to fix the machine since I don't have the receipt. Husky made these worthless machines for Home Depot. The manufacture date was 2 years and 2 days earlier than the day I brought it in. Are you going to tell me that this pressure washer made it from China (or wherever it was manufactured) to Gloucester, VA in less than 2 days? I told them to send it back. I am not willing to throw good money after bad.

To deny my claim is total BS. Home Depot has a responsibility to take care of their customers after selling them total garbage. My pressure washer looked brand new. The air filter wasn't even dirty and I stored the thing inside a heated room during the winter instead of keeping it in the garage so it wouldn't freeze.

They do not do their own work, but contract it out
Never, ever, ever have a bath remodel done by Home Depot . We should have known by the high pressure, misleading sales person that arrived at our home. We had a simple shower remodel that was not good from the beginning. We had to have the entire thing redone, which turned into another nightmare. They do not do their own work, but contract it out, so it is the luck of the draw on who shows up.

After talking to a number of people who do the same type of work, we were charged about double the standard industry rate. If I knew a way to try and get half my money back, I would try.

The most awful experience you will ever have
On 7/23/09 I bought some things to re-tile a shower with.I had been to the store thtrr times before but never had enought tile that I wonted.

On the 23 a salesmsn Denest in the tile section shid he could order thr restof it and it would take 2 weeks to get there.Two weeks later no tile, So he re ordered it. I have been in the store 9 more times checking on the tile. On the 10/16/09 I asked to speak with a manager. waited 15 minutes then went and had someone else call for one.A Chad Perry came back there and told me there was 31 cases there. I told him to get me one. The tile kept hideing from him, he could not find it.He said he would re order it I told hin no that I was going to find it at another store and I would bring him the gas bill. He told me he would find it, So I went back on the 10/17/09 and Chad acted lick he new nothing about it that it must have been someone else. I told him that I was going to get it and bring him the gas bill. He said he would oo pick it up himself today and be back around 2 PM. At 2PM. no Chad I found out that he did not leave to go get it untill around 10 AM.So a young lady name Lizz that lives clost to me said she would bring it to me So I paid for it will have it today I hope. I know I can't tell the Co. who to hire or fire but either Denest or Lizz would make a better Manager. As they both have the customers at heart and try to help them. NOT LIE TO THEM.

My company recently completed the largest solar job in the state of Georgia located in Dalton and bought some PVC material from the Home Depot store #137. Recently I went to return some of it to the store mentioned above without the receipt and they wouldn't take it because I did not have the receipt. The manager I talked to is Marcel Davies. This manager is completly racist against foreign people and extremely disrespectful. I asked him numerous times for his name and for his manager and he said he doesnt want to give it to me and told me to come back. He called me names, and he just walked away without helping me.
This guy should not be working for a company like Home Depot. This guy is only good at to work at a zoo.
I will contact the corporate office to deal with this illiterate person ASAP.

Home Depot support has crashed my computer twice
Home Depot support has crashed my computer twice (two out of three scheduled services). I would never recommend their tech support to anyone. My brand new HP computer is unusable, especially since I didn't get any restoration software with it when they sold it to me. You stopped me from starting my online business!

sorry, the complaint is for HOME DEPOT and not Jose Fernandez Inc.

HOME Depot in Bakersfield was of no help in trying to help me find a replacement Hose for the Husky 3000 psi.

Was overcharged $400.00 by the cashier
Last Sunday, I purchased some fencing materials and was overcharged $400.00 by the cashier. I immediately called this to the cashier's attention and she sent me to the customer service counter to get it fixed. After waiting for about 30 minutes (the return line was out the door) I asked the assistant manager for help. He informed me that they would have to refund me in cash. I told him that I needed that $400.00 in my account and my work hours do not allow me to get to the bank on weekdays. I asked him to please credit it back to my account. He told me to take the cash to an ATM. He didn't seem to concerned about my outstanding checks and the possibility of one of them bouncing. The cashier made a simple mistake. No problem. Home Depot refused to fix it and didn't even offer any sympathy or apologies. Not even a coupon or some token of their appreciation of my business. They CAN credit a debit transaction, they just REFUSE to for some unknown reason. I had already spent at least an hour in the store looking for things that they were out of and eventually having to settle for substitute materials. Much of that time was spent playing hide and seek with the "experts" (they are VERY good at that game). Then I got to spend a half hour in the return line with Home Depot holding my $400.00 hostage to finally be told to take my cash and go stuff it in an ATM. I used to love Home Depot and would very rarely shop elsewhere. I completely remodeled my last house with materials from HD. If anyone from HD is reading this, you should take note that your declining product selection, ridiculous refund policy and your habit of understaffing your stores have been pissing off your customers for some time. However, this assistant manager and his uncaring attitude adds insult to injury. I'm probably wasting my time though, I'm just an average Joe who only spends $10k a year at HD. SAVE MORE. GET MORE DONE??? Neither in my case! LOWE's is the way to go from now on.
