Supposedly I hired the Mortgage Modification Law Group in Nevada in September of 2009, paying $2500 up front, and then they turned their business over to another Modification group in Maricopa, Az. in January of 2010... Who did in fact, call our loan company and ask for occassional updates regarding our modification, and send me occassional e-mails with the status quo, (nothing), and I find out now that they didn't do "anything" I couldn't have done myself with my own Mortgage company. I last heard from them in August of this year, but when recently have tried to call them, found that all phone lines and e-mails are now disconnected. I guess I will try and finish up my home modification now by myself. Not a happy camper.
