I will be the first to acknowledge that caregivers of Alzheimer's patients have a truly difficult and mostly unrewarding job. This fact, however; does not give them the right to be rude, mistreat people and take advantage of situations. I recently witnessed an event that was so appalling that I still can not believe what I saw. If in fact what I witnessed was representative of what goes on behind closed doors I would be very worried for the residents there. I can not go into detail regarding the matter as the final report has not been completed, but want everyone out there looking for a place to take care of your loved ones to consider my experience before choosing a facility.
