My elderly father bought a used vehicle today. After signing the contract and driving the vehicle home which is only 8-10 miles, the car began to wreak of smoke. It made my mother and myself sick just sitting in it. It's obvious they tried to cover up the smell by using freshners that wore off after the test drive and the signed contract. The smell was very strong during their drive home. I called the dealership 60 mns after the purchase of the vehicle to get a resolution, to try to get some assistance with returning the car and purchasing one whose previous owner was not a smoker. I explianed the vehicle made my mother and me sick andmy father has major allergies and this car will cause him to get sick. The responses from seller, John Wall was that there is no cooling off period and there's nothing he could do, then he commented to the manager, "Apparently I'm not emtional enough for her"; needless to say, this prompted me to ask for some assistance.
