They claim to be a nonprofit who's out to help consumers save their homes. In reality, they are linked to the major banks with the main purpose of getting consumers to pay and do what's good for the BANKS. I recently got my mortgage refinanced and got these guys harassing me for months. They keep coming to the door and giving me semi-threatening notices to contact my bank or some helpline. When I ask them who they work for, they're purposely evasive and don't give me any useful information. Even when I told them that my refinance went through, they're still coming week and week. I DON'T NEED ANY MORE NOTICES OR THREATS. I DON'T NEED "HELP" SAVING MY HOME. Can't these people take a hint and leave people alone, instead of treating them like criminals?
