I purchased a HP lap top computer for our Grandson for graduation.I was not aware of how the 4 year plan worked. Our Grandson graduated on may 30 2008. When we purchased a viris cd it did not work so i went back toH&Hgreg to see if they could put it on they said oh we don't do that. At which point they was explaining the 4year plan to me I told them if I have to send it out if something goes wrong I do not want it they said I could not return it because i had it for more than 14 days. I told them when webought it that it was a gift so everything is fine as long as they get my money.I paid 499.99 for this 4 year plan that really means nothing if I have to send it out and then wait for 2 or 3 weeks to get it back. I explain to one of the store manger John that the sales person David Rahal did not explain that to me. I ask John could we return it he said no. My question is why not if the sales people do not properly explain the warrently to the customers. I feel wewere taken advantage of and should be compensated somehow for their mistake.At this point I fell the fair way to handle this would be to at least give me half of the plan back and still be covered for the 4 years, I would like for you to at least admit that they make a mistake.
