Poor customer service - don't want to honor warranty
I purchased a HP Pavilion computer in May 2010. It worked fine for a few months. Suddenly, it would boot up, but anytime I typed something on the keyboard, it would automatically shut the cmoputer down. After about 5 hours of troubleshooting, including reverting to an earlier configuration, I changed out the keyboard. The computer now works fine. The problem, and reason for the complaint, is that I called the HP customer support line and they refused to replace my keyboard without me going through more troubleshooting that was going to take from 30-60 minutes. The HP customer service is absolutely atrocious. I will be escalating the issue to their corporate offices. Their customer service is garbage. Stay away from HP products.
