Short as possible... I purchased a Persario V2424NR - @ $1, 200.00, Best Buy, which they downloaded all ness. installs. - @ 8 mos. L8tr - Mother board takes a dump- telephone HP and was put-off for 4 mos. - of course warranty has expired. HP sent NO RECALL NOTICE.So I get the M B replaced ($356.00 ). It's good for a week or so ... now laptop has a mind of its' own and shuts down in the middle of internet tasks.Take my gizmo to GEEKS and I'm told " EVERYTHING IS OKIE DOKIE !( $89.00 ). Now I go to my local provider and ( $49.00 ) I get a modem upgrade . Three days L8tr same shit happens again ! Then plundering thru internet ... there's a recall on the M B that I had replaced! Back to seek help from HP... I'm sorry but I can't understand a damn word that that person was saying. Via the postal service I get recalls on my car & m.c.. From HP NADA ! By the way, WHERE THE HELL IS MY OWNERS' MANUAL ? I know that I'm not suppose to us a knife to get toast out of it when it's plugged in. I refuse to pay $15.00 ( or more ) + s.& h.
