I was charged $745.00 to do a return theater


I was charged $745.00 to have my return prepared. The most I have ever been charged by other preparers ( including a CPA ) was $125.00. the only difference this year being I had about 40 tools listed on a depreciation tax form. This added about 2 to3 hours to the process. This means it cost
$620.00 to perform this part of the return. When I questioned why so much, I could not get a satisfying answer. I have asked several other tax professionals about this and all agreed that the fee should have much less. H@R Block has lost a customer for life and I shall tell everyone I know about how I was taken advantage of.
