i have purchased 2 separate sets of ultrex cookware over the last 15 years. i have two complaints so far. one, the teflon coating is defective and has peeled and flaked. two, my husband was making homemade spaghetti sauce in one of the large pots, only to discover that we had silver metal flakes floating in the sauce. we determined that the metal was coming from the lid that came with the cookware. it appeared as if it was too hot and just melted and dripped into the pot. of course, the sauce was now inedible and had to be thrown out. we are truly unhappy and disappointed with the ultrex cookware and want some kind of compensation from someone that was responsible for this product. who knows what else has been seeping into our food from this defective cookware.
