HSN falsely offers "flex pay" options to break up the payments for an item over 2, 3, 4 or 5 periods. It's a sales technique to make items appear more affordable. WHAT THEY DON"T TELL YOU is that when you opt for the flex pay you may be billed for TWO FLEX PAYMENTS in the SAME MONTHLY BILLING! I can't believe there has not been legal action for false / deceptive advertising!! I just got a statement with 2 vitamin products which were both on "3 flex pay" (which is good because each was over $100) and the statement shows charges for "1 of 2 flex pay" and "2 of 2 flex pay" on the same billing. This is an HSN credit card, so not a case where they have no control over how charges are billed.

I believe this is misleading and should be a violation of consumer protection and/or good faith and fair dealing laws.
