Sent my HTC phone in to HTC within the warranty. The phone had a crackling speaker. 4 months later HTC calls and tells me my phone has water damage and the LCD is bad and it is $190 to replace it. I told them they must have called the wrong person because my phone has a bad speaker and was never wet (2nd bad speaker btw). She insisted it was my phone and they were keeping it unless I paid $190 to replace it. of course the phone isn't even worth $190 so I said great... keep it. I'll never buy another HTC and I'll share my experience on the internet.
