May 2011-My neighbor had his lawn treated by Hunter Lawn Service. I was working at home when they came that day. When they first came they parked their truck partially blocking my drive which was unnessary because we have a large street. When they started using the tractor to spread the fertilizer they went through my yard to get to his. I live next door to my neighbor, not in front of him. His driveway is 40 feet from mine. In the process the guy proceeds to make tracks in my grass as he cuts accross my yard. He also spins his wheels in my grass leaving some marks. To be honest it didn't dig into the dirt but it seemed so unncessary to go through my yard to get to my neighbors. When I asked the guy if those were his tracks he said yeah and muttered something. When I asked him what he said he replied, "it's just grass man!". I said that wasn't the point, it was my yard and If he wanted to treat my neighbor's yard then use his driveway. I called the company and the receptionist was pleasant but that doesn't excuse an employee from being rude to potential customers while carrying out his work. I too am considering changing lawn service providers. I guess I can cross one potential company off the list now.
