On June 1, 2009, I contacted this site to learn about
making extra money. First I did not know it is actually
listed as "an online real estate dev & marketing co."
What ever that is. I received a telephone call from a
lady and after some talk and verbal agreement that
I had 30 days to back away, I agreed to the $198.00 charge to set up a website they design and get me on my way. However, after signing the on line agreement, I get another call from the lady in which
she now says that an additional $1200.00 is reccomended to make the sight so much better and
dynamic..the site she led me to for the 198.00 is a non descriptive, flat, colorless and most forgettable poor
dull appearing page. One can understand why one
would go with the "upgrade". I however, balked right
away and termed it a bait and switch. I then asked
for my refund and of course I was told that a Josh
would call after she sent it to refund. Of course there
is no refund as I found out from this Josh and that I
would receive zip in refund. How he could say this when they state in the contract thatit takes 5 days to set up the site is most halarious. He said there was only athree day cooling period and I again balked- to no avail.
No one in their right mind would sign for some
unknown, unproven, sketchy, contract without
out of some kind of out guarantee...and this is what
we initially agreed upon. I believe these type of new
companies are run by kids. I find in these difficult
times, that business relationships and old fashion good
business sense is replaced by greed for the dollar. I
warned them that I would expose this scam and that
a verbal agreement before signing was indeed a scam
if they did not honor such agreement. I would like to
see the hammer come down on these type of businesses
that prey on the consumer. I do not expect to see a dime for this and I have learned that you cannot trust
a verbal agreement contract. I hope that when they run to the bank or show their supervisor this 198.00
boon, they can go an and continue their charade. It is
a sad day when another chump believes what he is told on the telephone by such sad folks. I am not
blaming the "manager Cassie", as she was very nice.
But she is the initial contact and is responsible to me
for the validity of what she is saying.
