Was interested in purchasing a car from Tokai Multifranchise. Went to see the car on a Tuesday & signed the offer to purchase immediately. Chatted to their 'business manager' Chantel who filled out finance application, etc... long story short, I managed to get better finance myself, so decided to go with mine. That's when the trouble started, out of the woodwork came a delivery fee R 3249, which i wasn't informed of, decided to pay cash & not finance & i'm still waiting for the invoice. Was basically told the Friday that I have until Sat to let them know if I want the car or not, even though I'd signed OTP. Waited 4 days to get invoice to the bank & additional 3 to actually get the car, which hadn't been registered in my name yet. Still waiting for registration papers. According to MF the delivery fee is for roadworthy, admin, petrol, etc, but I only got half a tank of petrol? Requested the invoice for delivery fee multiple times, still no joy. They just have no customer service etiquette AT ALL. I had to threaten to cancel the deal in order to get an invoice to the bank. Have all email correspondence to proof that they're slack & are not honest.
