After reading about a work from home offer for Google on CNN.com, I clicked on the link and signed up after a $2.95 fee to have Google mail me a kit. There was a free three day trial so I continued with the registration on 11/17/09. Unfortunately I logged on to my bank account on 11/20/09 and see a pending debit for $129.95 from Click 4 Cash. I called the bank who provided me with the phone number of the merchant. I called and spoke with a representative who was not helpful and said that I agreed to the terms and conditions and the only thing I understood was that I was paying $2.95 and was getting a kit in the mail. The company refused to refund my money after I told them that I was mislead and this was not something I wanted or intended to pursue. I am hopeful that I will get a refund, I am unemployed and would not invest that kind of money into something that I am not computer savvy at all. I spoke with the manager who was unprofessional and demeaning making comments like why did you sign up for something not knowing what you were doing. I feel that I was mislead, disrespected, and that this is a rip off making consumers believe that there is a free trial and agree to the terms and conditions to move on the registration then to comit you to a contract and a $129.95 I was told that they were not affiliated with Google and refused the Corporate number and a direct number to file a complaint with the company.
