i live in lancaster ohio.my son is in jail in texas.one on the jails he is at has a limit of a 100.00 dollars.but then global tel link also puts a block on your phone.they will unblock as a coursity one time.then you have to prepay at 25.oo being the least amount.out of this 25.00 dollars the charge for the call is 16.70 for 15 minutes.but they charge you 4.95 just to connect you to you family member.i know that they are in jail or prison for a reason.but why make the mothers or wives and kids have to be punished also for being to keep in touch with there families?it outragous how much they charge for these calls anyway.its unfair to both parties.why does our goverment let these companies get away with these hig prices?if your family member is in another state there should be one set cost.10.00 to 12.00 per call would be a break for all concerened.i know my complaint wont make a difference but had to say it anyway.these companies dont care they cheat us all the time.
