Rip off
I wasa looking for a relative and paid for one month. the report had five-yearold records, which was no help. thewn Intellus billed me four month in a row for services i did not use or want. It's a rip off!!when I tried to contact them they were not responsive and it took two more months to try and get the billing stopped. I was tricked into a membership when their advertisement stated I could pay for just one report. The information was not compleat and to get more info I was asked to pay $49.00 more.

Ripoff
I used Intelius people search tools and was originally offered $19.95 on their website but ridiculously debited $39.95. I called them and they don't want to reverse the amount charged to me, they’re just telling they can’t do anything. I called my Master card and was promised that they'll help me with the amount taken out from my account and it has been 3 months now and I haven't received any refund. I need to take further action about this, this crooks might be scamming other people like me.

Scam
They will say they have the information you are looking for but after you pay the $4.99 the report will be essentially empty. No name, no address, nothing...when they clearly stated they had the name and address that corresponded to the phone number you are searching. Total scam. And no, they do not respond to any form of communication.

debit card
im trying to look for somebody and i put my debit card # and now when they feel like it deduct money out of my account suposse to be .95 cents and they charge me 19.95 two times i want my money back, they dont give me no information about the person, they riped me off

Unauthorized Payment Deductions
I have recieved the following charges on my Statement from the company intelius)
I was unlawfully charged the sum of $19.95 twice this month for a service that wasnt authorized by me by any means, contacted Intelius on 2/16/2011
to find someone, I was told that a 1 time search would cost me $0.95
I did my search and it did not provide accurate information for the
person I was requesting information on. However when I turned to check my mothly statement, I seen that I was also charged $19.95 on 02/16/2011 along with the charge of $0.99 that I had actually arthorized.
I have contacted this company they claimed I was billed because I accepted the 7 day trail which was a lie, After doing some research I found that thousands of people like me have been getting ripped of as well, this company need to be stopped A.S.A.P

Unsolicited charges
I just checked my bank statements and found that Intellius has been charging me $19.95 for the last 4 months. I don't know where they got my debit card number but I have been scammed and I am mad as ***. I was scammed by some *** in Utah and got my money back both from my bank and the state's Attorney General. I recommend that anyone who has a complaint of this kind do the same thing. If you have a bank like mine they will refund the money immediately then do an investigation (I will give them this URL for instance). If they decide it is a scam they will let you keep the refund.

FRAUDULENT CHARGES
This is an AMAZINGLY FRAUDULENT COMPANY. I cannot even get to the section to cancel. I will call my credit card company tomorrow to stop and any all charges from this terrible company. BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE!

total rip-off
I made a simple $.99 address inquiry for which they ended up charging me $6.21. The information I received was 10 years old and usless, becuse I already knew it, and more. When I called them to complain, their rep told me that all they guarantee is the information they have, not the accuracy nor the time frame; they would not refund my money.

no service
just made an order for 7$ and when i try to use the service online, the websight will go nowhere. cant get ahold by phone either. want to cancel order. how can i do this if i cant contact them?

Unauthorized Charges
I used the service once, and have been getting billed on a monthly basis. When I try to cancel, I can't get in, the site does not recognize my email--thus can't give me the password to cancel--and the telephone number for customer service is unavailable...I've sent an email, to see if they actually respond.
