I purchased an Apple iPhone 3GS 32GB from CleastWest Solutions Inc., an authorized TELUS Mobility outlet in Vancouver on February 5th, 2010. When I arrived home (East Vancouver) - I was "surprised & concerned" to learn that I had little to no 3G or cellular coverage on the main floor of my home (not a basement & built in 2006). As an entrepreneur, my cell phone is an critical component of my business. TELUS Mobility had "said - verbally" that I could return the iPhone for a complete refund within 14 days & I could re-activate my previous Motorolla cell. When I went to Clearwest - they said that all smart phones can be returned - with the exception of an "activated" iPhone (apparently - an Apple policy). They were adamant that since the coverage issue was @ my home - that they were not responsible. None of the above three companies are willing to help me with this "serious" issue. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
