I was shopping around at Lucky Plaza in Orchard road, singapore last 05.04.11 for a Nikon or Canon DSLR camera when this salesman in IT 3 Concepts Pte ltd. offered me this Nikon L120 digital camera initially for S$1200.00 At first, I was already settled in buying the Nikon D3100 DSLR when he sweet talked me into buying this Nikon L120. He then reduced the price of the latter item to S$1, 100.00, then lastly to S$800.00. As I've said, I was already settled to pay the former Nikon D3100 but he's really persistent in selling me the Nikon L120. finally, as I've said, I was sweet talked into buying the Nikon L120 for S$800.00. After few minutes, I asked around in other shops located in the same building and I found out that the item I bought was only around S$400.00. To confirm my suspicion that I was cheated, I asked again from another shop and the same price I got. I went back to the seller and demanded an explanation. I asked them if I can just exchange for my initial choice which is the Nikon D3100 which only cost S$670 (inclusive of tax). I also promised them that I would not asked for refund but instead will just buy other items in order to come up with the S$800.00 amount that I've already paid. They said that they have a company policy of "No return, No exchange" and they even showed me that it was printed in the receipt. I protested that this is unlawful. I haven't used the camera, it's just a matter of 30 minutes that has passed and they don't want to deal with me no more. I felt I was cheated by this electronics shop and I demand an investigation on this. I was able to confirm the real price of this Nikon L120 in the internet and it is only around S$290.00. I felt disgusted by the way the 2 salesmen in this store treated and cheated me. I got the names of these 2 salesmen: CALVIN and JAYDEN. They are retailer and wholesaler of electronics, IT products and mobile phone, laptops, service & repair. I feel disappointed and disgusted with these people. I am a Filipino tourist just having a vacation in Singapore and this is what I got from these 2 bastards.
