Flat Four Trikes Of Texas

Wrong Discription And Item Number On Web Site
I started a VW trike building business and intended to use JC Whitney as a main supplier of engines and parts. Ordered an aluminum fuel tank for the first trike. When it arrived the size of the tank was not what I ordered, it would not fit the trike. I sent it back and they said they would send the correct one if I paid for the second tank and they would credit my card when the returned tank arrived back to the warehouse. The second tank came in and it was the same size as the first. I called customer service and they said send it back, and said they had discovered that the part number on the web site was wrong. The third tank was finally the correct size. When I got the e-mail from the warehouse that they had received the last tank back (for the refund) I also had an e-mail from Fedx that they had picked up a new tank from JC Whitney for delivery. Instead of crediting my card they shipped another tank. I needed the money they had tied up in order to place an order for an engine from them. They would not release my money even though they call Fedx to turn the tank around before it was delivered. Their tracking information shows that the tank is still in transit and I do not have the item. This could have been the beginning of a long term vendor/customer relationship that would have been good for us both, but I will never spend another dime with such a disgraceful organization as this.
