I was moving from a large home to a smaller home, and had a personal library of around 1000 volumes. Valerie Jacobsen contacted me regarding possibly selling the books on consignment. I entered into a contract with her keeping the majority of the money. I hated to give up my books, but had no more room for them.
Over and over I had to bug her as to what sold and when payment would be made. I received 2 maybe 3 payments and then, nothing. I repeatedly e-mailed them, no response. They don't even have an answering machine, and I work the same hours they are open.
All I want now, are my books back. I will find something to do with them.
