i have a 2000 cavalier z 24. 4 years ago, suddenly my car wouldn't start. i work for a school bus company, and our head mechanic tested to see if it was my battery or my altranator...it was my battery!
i took my car to dealership, jake sweeney chevorlet, and told them i needed a new battery... 30 minutes later, they came out to tell me it was my altranator, and gave me a price that almost made me sick...i called the bus company and told him what they said...he said, "no it is your battery not your altranator, tell them to put a battery in and get out of there while you still can".
it is now october, 2008, and i still have the same original altranator...why can't their be an honest place for women and men, to get service???
