While at work today, I received a phone call from "Mrs. Robinson, with Jason Head, LLC Law Firm". She tells me that I owe an unbelievable amount of money on an old credit card from January '04. I ask her to show me the proof because I am certain that I do not owe that. She was very rude and gave me a breakdown that is still way out there. I asked for her phone number, wrote it down and read it back to her, complete with reference number. I asked her not to contact me at work again as my employer does not allow any personal calls. She asked for my home number and I stated that I would call her (I'm sure they have my home number too!). I re-confirmed that I had her contact and asked her while waiting for me to do my investigation, to send me anything she had, (original contracts, etc) to validate her statement. She started yelling in the phone and became more and more beligerant. She ended by saying that she was going to "release my file and note that I refused to pay" and hung up. I never refused to pay anything...
