Our 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee air conditioning evaporator developed a leak. After getting estimates from several repair shops we found out that this has been an on going problem in Jeeps and that there hasn't been a recall for this problem from the manufacturer. This repair is very expensive to repair. We paid the Jeep dealership in Merritt Island, Florida over $750.00 to get this fixed. This dealerhip also told us that a recall should have been issued for this defect but never was. Does anyone know of any recourse we might have to recoup all or at least some of these expenses.
