I recently puchased a Ford Ranger at Strapp Ford in Burwood. I was promised that the vehicle would arrive in January 2010. As a result i put a down payment of $1000. I have purchased a Jim's mowing around and was to commence on the 01.02.10 which Strapp Ford advised would be no problems in getting the vehicle. I have now been informed by Strapp Ford that the vehicle is not even in the country and it might be here in Feburary sometime but no promises. They then tried to upsell me on another Ranger at an extra cost of $4000. I then asked to speak to the manager and was advised that he does not take complaint calls and I would either have to just wait or take the dearer car. I then asked for my $1000 back so I could purchase another vehicle only to be today that since they have ordered the car that it was my bad luck and I either take the dearer car or just wait. Once again I asked to speak to the manager only to be told he does not take complaint calls. I was then asked again would l like to wait for the car or purchase the dearer one. The consultant then said to call him back once i know what I am doing as he is busy and has other customers he has to deal with and then he just hung up...
