In a recent trip to the Jockey Club in Las Vegas (Sept. 28, to Oct. 5) the construction in and around the place is extensive. The construction (building twin towers; City Center) basicly goes on 24/7 and the noise from the construction can be plainly heard during the night and day. I ended up buying two pair of ears plugs so we could get some sleep. The Construction will be going on until the year, 2009. I would advised to either find a new location for our club members or strongly stay away until the construction is done. In your letter advising the club members you state that the construction is only during the day. THAT IS NOT TRUE. Please inform our club members of the of the situation there.
As for the Jockey Club itself. The rooms are really nice and the location is great. The people there are top rate and in any other time I would recommend it very highly.
