Removes competent mother from home and leaves dying "father" with full custody of two troubled teens. He dies in 7 months and leaves his sister in charge of his estate. Three months after he dies, Kent signs the divorce decree - first mother is a widow and then she's divorced. His sister restrains one of the teens from the family home & restrains the mother too. The home is destroyed in addition to the family. The tragedy that occurs 7 months later is something that did not have to happen!
