Ordered a Dazzel White teeth whitening pen as a "free" trial offer. They stated on the internet "you only pay shipping." Then for two days I received calls from an 866 number and when I would answer, no one was there. I called the number back and the "marketer" stated they were "just confirming my order" then proceeded to try to get me to order more items on a monthly basis. I told the marketer "no" I only wanted the free trial offer. I stated "do not charge my card anything more, just the shipping. I do not want to order any monthly products." The marketer assured me I would not be charged anything additional and would be taken off the "preferred" list. I received the whitening pen within 5 days. Then 12 days after receiving the pen my bank account was charged $87.62 by a company called EZBeauty. I called the number attached to the transaction description and was told the charge was for the pen. When I questioned the "free trial offer" the marketer explained it was a 14 day trial and I had 30 days to return the pen for a full refund. I explained what I thought the offer was and the marketer again stated "no you paid $87.62 for a one month supply, which is the pen." He gave me return instructions and said I would not get the $87.62 refunded until they received the pen back. Now I will be paying for shipping the pen, along with insurance and some sort of a return receipt...so they can't say they didn't receive it! Plus, I will need to cancel my bank card due to the fact any business who uses SCAMS like this certainly can't be trusted to destroy my card number. Whew!! Did I learn my lesson the hard way. I guess you can't trust even "news' articles that pop up on aol's home page either. I have reported Just Think Media (yep go figure that name) to the FTC and Consumer Proctection Agency and will soon be reporting them and their SCAM to AOL.
