I shipped my JVC camcorder as per the instructions contained in the link below. Customer service called a couple of weeks later and said I would have to pay $200 (more that I paid for the camcorder new). I refused and they said they would scrap the unit and not resell (sure). I only used the camcorder for ~10 hours total as it spent most of its useful life in my drawer. I'll never purchase or recommend any JVC products.
