While I Was shopping t K-mart I noticed an "EMERGENCY ROADSIDE KIT" I wanted to purchase for my son for X-mas. There were 2 sizes on display one was a 75pc.kit on sale for $29.99(reg.$42.99). There was only one left and it had been opened and rummaged through, part of it was missing and the zipper was broken. I really wanted this gift for my son as he just got his license and his new Ford Bronco. He is only 16 and this would be perfect for him. Although it wasnt in stock i tried to attain a RAINCHECK from the CUSTOMER SERVICE desk. Where after a half-hour I was told I could not receive a raincheck a this product was not on sale. I had two different employees verifythis product was indeed on sale to the MANAGER on duty he still refused to give me a rancheck. After all this run-a-round I angrily left the store!I returned to the store the next day, and tried once more to attain a raincheck for the "EMERGENCY ROADSIDE KIT" this time I had no problem! I was at the Customer Service desk for about five minutes, had my raincheck and was done.Something should be done about this mis-communication between daytime and nighttime employees, Very Sincerely, Jim Salo
