I just purchased a 2007 Kawasaki Mean Streak and I am very displeased with the design-in safety features that Kawasaki put into this motorcycle. The lack of visibility is one of the main reasons for motorcycle accidents. People just don't see motorcycle riders until it is too late, especially in bad weather; yet Kawasaki did not put emergency hazards lights and make the rear turn signals function as both tail lights and turn signals.

Motorists are looking for two tail lights on the rear and just one small tail/break light does not provide adequate safe lighting.

I am surprise that the national Highway traffic Safety Administration allowed this design.
