I bought a 1996 Subaru Outback Legacy on Feb. 20th, 2010 and I got to drive it a total of 3 days, before it started overheating. I called the gentleman back at the auto place and told him what happened. All he said was that the mechanic that looked at the car had replaced the water pump, timing chain and thermostat.

Well my husband is a very smart man so he checked the car out and everything that was going on pointed to the thermostat being faulty, so he replaced it and it still overheated.

We are at a loss!!!
