On 5/9/11 I received a call from a man identifying himself as Officer Oneal. He stated he was a legal investigator for a payday loan company & I needed to make payment arrangements immediately or he was going to have me arrested. I asked him what company he was representing & all he would say is that he is a legal investigator for a parent company of multiple payday loan companies. He would not give me any specific information or the name of his company. I have filed a fraud report with my credit card company & the Better Business Bureau. Do NOT let this happen to you! Collection agencies can only contact your work to verify employment & they can not threaten to have you arrested.
