If you wish to get nickle and dimed to death on your vacation, I highly recommend Kings Creek Resort on Kentucky Lake.

They advertise rates based on 4 people on their website, then when you get there they charge you and extra $15 bucks per person over two people. Why would I rent a larger cabin with 4 beds if I only had two people?

After we paid our extra 15 bucks for our "extra" two people, they tried to charge us extra for a second boat slip when they were advertised as free on the website? Again, why would I rent a large cabin with four people and use one boat slip?

Then the place was a wreck. We didn't receive any sheets the first night for our beds. When we asked the next day (couldn't find the resort owner that night) they gave us sheets and we had to make the beds ourselves!

We were not supplied with coffee filters, dish towels, or paper towels. The sink sprayed water on you when you turned it on past a trickle.

These guys don't have a clue on how to run a resort and provide customer service. I must say we won't be going back and recommend you don't either.
