i had them put in my new faucets and disposal on my new sink. the only thing under sink was the 2 valves and outlet. i had a gut feeling when he went out to his truck and i looked at what he had done in the 2 or 3 hours that he had been there and little was done but i thought that in the phone book it said they charged by the job not the hour, i thought maybe ok. the drain was not coming out in the right place so i guess he fixed that, i had no pressure so changed the hot water valve. these seem like not much of a problem for a plumber. he left to go to lunch and had to get parts for the water line and i was charged for that cause it was not on his truck. i also had a bad feeling when he was doing all this grunting like it was a hard job. i went in a few times to watch him. my bill is $628.37 on my bill he has that i had 1 inch granite counter tops, i have quartz. he mentioned the price pfister kitchen vaucets. i am a widow on retirement and this bill is alittle less than i make a month for my retirement check. i think he is way over charging me. i asked other plumbers today how long and they said 1 and a half hours to 2 hours.
