I adopted a cat from Larimer County Humane Society. I thought that would be the right thing to do, but I got the raw end of the deal. First off they told me the animal was perfectly healthy, 75$ later and a trip to the vet says he is sick with the same things we were told less than an hour ago had been fixed by Larimer's Vet. It took two months to get the cat to stop stinking, and most of that time he had to be in a different room. I called for a week trying to get a refund as I had a problem with their animal at under 24 hours and the only thing they said is, 'We will be glad to take the animal back, if your not able to care for it.' I was lucky at least my pet survived I have talked to others who had to put their pet's down only months after receiving them from Larimer County. The cages are overcrowded and filthy and the animals are not cared for as they should be. DO NOT GET A PET FROM HERE!!!
