I called to talk to Mr. Vandyne from the law offices of Curtis Barnes. This was in reference to a call that my mother in law received from Mr. Vandyne about a debt in the sum of $ 2241.29. These people called my mother-in law's payroll dept threatening to start the proceeding to sue my Mother in law. I called Mr. Vandyne directly to expalin and try and work out a payment plan. He was very condescending and unwilling to work out a payment plan with me. Continued many times to tell me that i needed to borrow the money from someone to pay this debt or if I can transfer the balance to another credit card. Also wanted to know what was my reason that I couldn't pay the full amount.

I was fed up and did not want to talk to him, I asked to talk to a manager and I spoke with Mr. Edwards and his tactics were exactly the same - condescending and unprofessional. Almost arguing with me. told me that all he can offer me was to by $750.00 first payment due this month for the next 3 months and thaI i had an hour and a half to call and make the arrangement by giving him my banking infomation, if not he will start the proceedings to garnish my wages.
