In spring of 2008 I hired Lawn Dr. to get rid of the weeds on my lawn. Their very first trip, they sprayed, which ruined my roses and my lilacs. After much ado and trying to explain it away as something else, they agreed to send in some samples for testing to see if it was their spray. (Everything was blooming beautifully until a few days after their visit.) Their testing showed the lilac bush was definitely suffering from their spraying and the rose bushes they were not sure about. (Of course they take the samples they want for testing.) They agreed to replace the lilacs only. Since I had been told by the testing lab technician that the following year there would probably be a few blooms and then more the following year I asked them if I could have a rain check and we would see what would happen the following year. They happily agreed. I should have gotten it in writing or had them replaced then. Not so much as one bloom this year and when I called them they refused to discuss their previous promise and said "we’re done". Very unethical business.
