I purchased a used tire for $48.00 from this business. At that time there was a large stack of tires in front of the business, covering the hand-written sign that says "no refunds, no exchanges, no warranty, no arguments." If I had seen the sign, I would not have done business with this firm, which obviously prides itself on taking advantage of people. My jack would not work to raise the truck for which I purchased the tire, so I had to wait until Tuesday to put it on the vehicle. Wednesday morning the tire was nearly flat - I was very obviously sold a bad tire. I went to the business on Wednesday, as soon as I discovered the problem, to discuss the matter. A young man directed me to the owner, who was totally unapologetic and extremely rude. His exact words were "You're SOL. This is a cash business with no warranty. If you bought one of these cars and the transmission went out a mile up the road it would be the same thing." When I asked to see his business license, he refused to allow me to see it. Further he refused to even give his name, when I said that I was going to report him. He used very foul language and demanded that I leave. This is most assuredly no way to do business; and, I want to be sure other consumers are aware of their practices. I am very unhappy.
