My husband got a letter in the mail saying he was pre-approved for a credit card from LCP. He called them and they wanted to use a credit card to activate it. The only one we have is mine and they said they couldn't use that so they told him he had to send them $45 to get his card.

I went to the post office and got a money order and sent them all the info they needed. It has been 3 weeks since I mailed it off and we have yet to receive anything from them. We can't even find a phone number to call so we can talk to them and see what they have to say about it.

Just when u think u will never get scammed, u do. So don't ever think that b/c it could happen at any time, by anybody, no matter how legit they seem.
