Legend Home's foreman, Leonard, lied and told me that Legend Homes and Reeder Flooring were going to send the carpet to Mowhawk, the manufacturers of the carpet to be tested in Mowhawk's lab. After several weeks went by, I contacted Mowhawk and Legend to see what the results were. Legend homes told me they that they had made a claim with Mowhawk. This turned out to be false and was confirmed by Mowhawk's claim office to be completely false. Legend Homes later admitted to me over the phone that they acted in bad faith. They also confirmed they had acted in bad faith in writing. This proves that Legend Homes had no intention of replacing the defective carpet. Legend Home Corp refuses to honor my home warranty.
