I've had this router now for a little over a month and I have been nothing but pleased with it.
I came from Belkin and Netgear routers, which served my purposes but looked kind of funky (white, antennas etc.) The Linksys has no antennas and has a sleek low profile.
I am somewhat of a power user in that I have the need to dabble with WOL and port forwarding among other things. The settings in this router are very easy to access and you can do it from locally installed software or from the usual IP web interface.
I have not so much as had to restart this router for any reason during the month that I've had it. I have checked the temperature from time to time and it is only warm to the touch. The venting looks pretty good on this unit as well.
Price was under $100 which is great for a router of this class. I have been using it with a wired ethernet connection to my PC and over wifi with my iPhone / iPad. There have been no issues and speed is incredibly fast over ethernet, and more than adequate for my small studio with wifi.
Highly recommend this router. I got mine at Staples.
